2. The Copperhead
The Copperhead camoflages itself well on trails and under rocks so its best to stay on trails and being careful of disturbing a copperhead. They do bite when stepped on. The copperhead also goes by other local names like the southern and Highland Copperhead and the Chunkhead Moccasin.
3. Florida’s other Four Venomous Snake Species:Florida has nearly 50 native snake species and only 6 of them are listed as venomous snake species.
